Matt Jennings
Manager, Bank and Thrift Supervision - Springfield
Matt Jennings joined the Division of Banking on June 1, 2017. For the past seven years, Matt served as the Illinois Department of Commerce and Economic Opportunity’s Program Manager for the EDGE Tax Credit Program and the Downstate Coordinator for the Advantage Illinois Loan Participation Program.
He has over 20 years' experience in commercial lending and banking. He has served as the Assistant Vice President of Lending for Bank One/Chase Bank and the Vice President of Lending for United Community Bank.
Today, Matt is responsible for supervision, regulation, and examination of state-chartered banks operating outside of the Chicago metropolitan area.
