Susana Soriano
Susana Soriano joined the Division of Banking for the Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation in October 2020. She has over 15-years of experience in the banking and financial services industry, while serving in various capacities at JPMorgan Chase Bank.
Prior to joining the State of Illinois, Ms. Soriano worked as a Senior Loan Program Officer with the Chicago Community Loan Fund (CCLF), a CDFI, where she focused her efforts on managing loan and grant programs for small businesses impacted by the pandemic. Prior to her role at CCLF, she worked for the City of Chicago's Department of Planning and Development underwriting Tax Increment Financing projects and leading a grant program to revitalize commercial corridors in Low to Moderate Income (LMI) communities in the City.
Ms. Soriano is passionate about helping LMI communities obtain access to credit and financial services. She received her Bachelor s Degree in Finance from the University of Illinois at Chicago and is fluent in Spanish.
