Brian Ash
Case Manager, Bank and Thrift Supervision Springfield
Brian Ash was born and raised on a farm in Iroquois County. He graduated from the University of Illinois in 1985 with a BS in Agriculture Economics. Mr. Ash has worked in banking for 35 years, all of which was in central Illinois rural community banks in the counties of Sangamon, Peoria, Logan and DeWitt. He has held various positions, the majority of which he served as CEO of the banks for which he worked.
Mr. Ash has served on the IBA's Ag Advisory Committee for 10+ years. He has lived in Lincoln, Illinois for the past 21 years. He has 1 adult daughter, Kylie, 27. He enjoys golf and fishing and is a Cubs and a Fighting Illini fan. Mr. Ash joined the IDFPR Division of Banking on March 2, 2020 as a Case Manager.
