License Renewal Opens November 1
License renewal for collection agencies will be completed entirely online. You may submit your renewal application in the Illinois portal, available here: https://online-dfpr.micropact.com/
Please be prepared to upload a copy of your bond or a letter stating that the company is a debt buyer subject to 205 ILCS 740/8.6.
Any license which has not submitted renewal by December 31, 2024 will expire on December 31, 2024.

Please allow 2-4 business days for your license to post in our systems and your license status to update. - NOTE: If an applicant misses the renewal window and the online portal does not allow you to renew after it concludes, you must reinstate their license by requesting a Reinstatement application from IDFPR.
