Possible online services disruption due to Internet related outage

A worldwide technology outage is causing disruption to some State of Illinois online systems.  We are aware of this issue and are diligently working on restoration.

IDFPR launched a new online licensing system! Learn more about CORE and which professions can use it to apply for licensure now by going here.

Notices

  • We have a new Third Party Authorization for licensure applicants, which may be found here! This is for applicants to authorize individuals or companies to contact IDFPR on your behalf regarding your application. All other versions of the form will no longer be accepted by the Department starting May 1, 2024.
  • Please be advised that Controlled Substances Registration applications and printed licenses will no longer specifically reference or include the 'N' designation. Under the Illinois Controlled Substances Act narcotic and non-narcotic schedules are combined and the 'N' designation is not needed. The lack of 'N' designation does not prevent or affect the ability of Illinois licensed practitioners to prescribe, dispense or order narcotic drugs to the extent allowed by law. The DEA is aware of this change. Questions regarding 'N' designations on DEA registrations should be directed to the DEA at their website (www.deadiversion.usdoj.gov) or by phone at 312-353-7875.
