Possible online services disruption due to Internet related outage

CONSUMER ALERT: Compounded Drug Products

The U.S. Food & Drug Administration (FDA) is aware of increased interest in compounded drug products containing semaglutide or tirzepatide. Compounded drug products can serve an important medical need for certain patients. However, compounded drug products (including compounded semaglutide and tirzepatide products) are not FDA-approved. They do not undergo premarket review by FDA for safety, effectiveness, or quality.

The FDA has published an informative letter that seeks to increase awareness of this safety concern.

Select Professions Can Pay Application Fees Online!

Starting June 4, 2024, as part of a pilot program, professionals in select professions will be able to submit payments for their paper applications online using ePay by going here. Eligible professions are listed below, with additional professions being added at a later date.

Licensing Update for Healthcare Professionals

As part of their renewal process, licensees in 38 healthcare professions are now required to complete one hour of continuing education on recognizing implicit bias in healthcare. Learn more under IDFPR’s Administrative Code here.
