- The Massage Therapy Practice Act was updated to reflect a new continuing education requirement.
Pursuant to 225 ILCS 57/67 of the Act, one hour of CE for domestic violence and sexual assault has been added to the CE requirement, increasing the total number of hours needed to 25 hours. Please note, the 1 additional hour of CE for domestic violence and sexual assault will not be required for the 2024 renewal which expires on 12-31-24.
The Rules for the Administration of the Act are in the process of being updated and will reflect the effective date for the new requirement to be part of the 2026 renewal.
- We have a new Third Party Authorization for licensure applicants, which may be found here! This is for applicants to authorize individuals or companies to contact IDFPR on your behalf regarding your application. All other versions of the form will no longer be accepted by the Department starting May 1, 2024.
