Appraisal License Renewal Scheduled To Open In July 2023

Real Estate Appraiser Renewal Period opens in July 2023 and ends on September 30, 2023. If you were an Illinois Certified Appraiser or an Associate Real Estate Trainee Appraiser before March 30, 2023, you will need evidence that you’ve completed 28 hours of CE (inclusive of 7 hours of USPAP) plus an approved 1-hour Sexual Harassment Prevention Training before September 30, 2023. The 1-hour SHPT course does NOT count toward CE for appraisers. If you were issued your FIRST credential on March 30, 2023 or later, you will need to complete 14 hours of CE (inclusive of 7 hours of USPAP) plus an approved 1-hour Sexual Harassment Prevention Training before September 30, 2023. Any and all CE must have been completed in the period from October 1, 2021 through September 30, 2023.  Please email fpr.realestate@illinois.gov with any questions.
